The L33-based 5.3 has done excellent work in this car, but it's done. A 6.2 LS3 with a big cam is going to be in charge now. There's nothing wrong with the 5.3, it just doesn't have the low-end grunt of the big motor. I'm going to take this down time to sort out a bunch of other little things on the car.
