It's not an obvious change, but the seam along the outside edge was been opened up. We need to check clearances using the plastic engine, a bellhousing and a subframe - but we don't have the subframe yet. So this will remain half-finished for a bit.
entry 789 - tags: tunnel | | |  | March 31, 2011 - Before painting, the car got a coat of sealer in the transmission tunnel as well as primer along the seam welds.
I was conflicted about using the sealer on the tunnel - it'll make it harder to fit heat insulation such as the Reflectix I used earlier, but it'll protect the metal. I'll just put insulation inside the car this time.
